SELECTED WORK / CUMULUS-BUILT PLATFORM / CREATOR TOOLS

A home base creators can make their own.

Gamer Sites is a Cumulus-built creator platform. The idea is straightforward: let gaming creators launch a website they can shape, instead of relying exclusively on their profiles on social platforms.

01 / THE CHALLENGE

Start with the real constraint.

A platform has to do more than repeat a website template. It needs an understandable setup flow, appropriate permissions, shared capabilities, and a manageable way to operate many creator sites.

02 / THE STRATEGY

Make the next step clearer.

Use WordPress Multisite as the shared foundation, then separate the creator experience from network administration. Organize capabilities around roles and tiers, and make provisioning a defined workflow.

A CLOSER LOOK

Connect the experience to the system.

The visible creator experience depends on a clear content model, ownership boundaries, and reliable connections.

CONNECTED ARCHITECTURE

A website. A working system.

01 / Experience

Pages, forms & customer journeys

02 / Content

WordPress & editable components

03 / Connections

Business tools, data & operations

Each layer has a purpose and a clear owner.

03 / WHAT WE BUILT

Decisions that shape the experience.

01

Automated provisioning

Connect the creator’s setup journey to site creation and subdomain provisioning, with a consistent starting structure for each site.

02

Creator experience

Custom dashboards, roles, and Divi-based editing provide a focused way for creators to work on their own content.

03

Commercial model

Tiered site capabilities and Stripe payment integration form part of the platform’s commercial architecture.

04

Domain flexibility

Subdomains offer a starting point, with custom domains included in the platform direction for creators building an independent brand.

ARCHITECTURE / NEXT STEPS

Built with room to evolve.

The roadmap includes deeper creator tools and Twitch/Discord integration. Those integrations are a direction for the platform, not a claim that every proposed feature is live. Future scale work depends on measured usage, operational testing, and the needs of creators.

The technical stack centers on WordPress Multisite, Divi-based editing, custom dashboard development, and Stripe. Scaling requires testing the provisioning lifecycle, permissions, recovery, and operational load.

04 / THE OUTCOME

Evidence of systems work beyond a brochure site.

Gamer Sites demonstrates Cumulus’s platform approach: connect content, permissions, provisioning, payments, and a usable dashboard into a coordinated system. It brings the same care for structure and usability to a product with many connected workflows.
